Afternoon at the Tierpark

On a nice Sunday afternoon, a friend, Frances and I went to a Tierpark. This is a big area of natural wilderness in Goldau, Switzerland (about 45 minutes south of Zurich) that a variety of wildlife live in. There is a section of the park where deer walk right on the paths that people walk on. The kids seemed to like petting the little ones and feeding them too. Frances said the first picture reminder her of the Adirondack Mountains in New York. Besides deer, we saw storks, swans, bears, alpine elk and wild boars. We are lucky to have such places to visit!
